WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Sweat, Stillness & F.E.E.L: A Day Retreat
April 18th, 2026 | Torrance, CA.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING

This document is a legally binding agreement. By signing below, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the terms of participation in the Sweat & Stillness Retreat hosted by Nicole Sciacca Studio, Inc. from 10 am to 4 pm April 18th, 2026, Torrance, CA.

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I acknowledge that my participation in the retreat may involve physical activities such as yoga, strength training, mobility exercises, guided meditations, workshops and sound healing, and other wellness practices. I understand that these activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle strains, sprains, falls, heart conditions, dehydration, and unforeseen injuries or medical complications. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for these risks, whether known or unknown.

2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I hereby waive, release, and discharge Nicole Sciacca, Nicole Sciacca Studio, Inc., its employees, contractors, volunteers, affiliates, agents, and any associated venues from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action, or causes of action, present or future, arising from or related to my participation in the retreat, including but not limited to claims arising from negligence.

3. MEDICAL DECLARATION & CONSENT TO TREATMENT

I certify that I am physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of participating in the retreat. I have either received a physician’s approval or knowingly accept all associated risks. In the event of an emergency, I authorize Nicole Sciacca and/or her representatives to seek medical treatment on my behalf. I assume full financial responsibility for any medical treatment or related expenses incurred during the retreat.

4. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA RELEASE

I grant Nicole Sciacca Studio, Inc., as well as any contractors presenting programming at the event, the irrevocable right to use any photographs, videos, or other media captured during the retreat for promotional, educational, or commercial purposes without compensation. If I do not wish to be included in the media, I will notify the organizers in writing three (3) days before the start of the retreat.

5. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

I understand that all retreat payments are non-refundable, except under special circumstances as determined by the event organizers in their sole discretion. If I choose to cancel my participation, I acknowledge that I may forfeit all or a portion of my payment, subject to the terms of the cancellation policy.

6. GOVERNING LAW & SEVERABILITY

This Waiver and Release of Liability shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. If any provision of this agreement is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

7. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & AGREEMENT

By signing below, (accepting) I confirm that I have carefully read and fully understand this Waiver and Release of Liability. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above, and I understand that by signing this document, I may be waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue.
